OUR HISTORY

YV.DELLOYE was born in 2017 under the impetus of designer Claire Delloye Quenardel. She passionately creates a new form of jewelry that is beautiful and well-made, with a resolutely ethical approach.

The brand is a tribute to her grandfather, who passed on to her a taste for excellence and expertise in exceptional jewelry.

Since the House cares about upholding the French jewelry tradition, it works with a Parisian high jewelry workshop which has the Living Heritage Company (or Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant, EPV) label. The workshop also provides for the most prestigious houses of Place Vendôme.

Yv.Delloye is about assertive style, marked by great creative freedom, inspired by the modern art movement. The architecture and design of that period are the principal sources of inspiration of the House. Claire Delloye Quenardel is influenced by designers such as Suzanne Belperron, Eileen Gray, Le Corbusier and Jean Desprès in designing, developing and delivering bold, unique pieces.

Each stone is the departure point for a design. Her favorite stone is tourmaline, for its flamboyant colors and diversity, but other stones can be just as inspiring, inciting her to continue composing new models. This creative approach is part of her pursuit for balance: the search to find just the right structure to showcase each stone, paring back the superfluous.

OUR COMMITMENTS

Yv.Delloye is committed to respecting human rights and the environment while protecting the unique savoir-faire of French high jewelry. A new, more responsible kind of jewelry that keeps its environmental impact under control.

Yv.Delloye designs come to life in Paris. We work with qualified craftsmen from a workshop recognized by the Responsible Jewelry Council (RJC) that carries the Living Heritage Company (EPV) label. Founding, goldsmithing, model-making, gem-setting, jeweling and polishing: each craft and each production phase requires experience, care and patience.

The proximity of their workshop enables us to maintain total control over the manufacturing process. Our goal is to produce jewelry in a traceable, transparent way from design to delivery.

RECYCLED GOLD

More than a commitment, recycling is a necessity.

We know that enough gold has already been extracted and processed on the surface of the planet to forgo further mining. That is why we choose to exclusively use 18 karat recycled gold with the Chain of Custody (CoC) standard to manufacture our jewelry.

OUR STONES

The gemstones and diamonds that adorn our jewelry are particularly important to us. We meticulously select the central and paving stones for their exceptional quality.

We only work with diamond merchants certified by the Responsible Jewelry Council (RJC) that observe the Kimberley Process, which guarantees the origin of our diamonds and the way that they are extracted from mines. Each of our diamonds comes with a certificate from the GIA or the HRD, the two most prestigious expert laboratories in diamond appraisal.

Since the beginning, we have been procuring colored gemstones from trustworthy partners who ensure us the traceability of each stone.
